Throwing it back to one of the foundational and most coveted names in chorus, the Uni-Vibe, the fully-analog RetroVibe has cultivated a faithful following from version to version of players who cannot deny the truth of '60s psychedelic choruses. The RetroVibe Mk.4 delivers a familiar RetroVibe experience that runs the gamut from swirling '60s-style choruses to tightly-twisted vibratos. This RetroVibe version expands on its previous versions' voices with an expanded vocal range that widens the spectrum of sounds possible from the classic Uni-Vibe modulation. This expanse is made all the more noticeable with a two-way chorus and vibrato mode toggle that swaps the effect more quickly into either lane of modulation.
Part of the RetroVibe's Mk.4 upgrade comes in the form of tap tempo control. A second footswitch allows for intuitive and responsive changes in rhythm in addition to a ramp function that speeds up modulation tempo on a momentary response-basis. These functions are built out with an expression pedal connection that can either support speed-based expression pedals through TRS cable connections or tap-based expression footswitches through TS cable connections. Really opening the field for the RetroVibe Mk.4 to be played any way you want, JAM has you covered. An internal trimmer allows the RetroVibe's output level to be adjusted to taste for that final bit of customization.
